reminded me of that time (two days ago) when Ellen stayed up until 6 in the morning talking about nothing. And I told her this adorable story about myself. The story was about how I had two Pocahontas Barbies, a Mulan Barbie, and a Mexican Generation Girl (those Barbies that had like highlighted hair and funky personalities) named Anna who was my favorite. They were all in a family together and Scary Spice Barbie was their mom.

See, I was culturally sensitive from the very beginning.

That’s horrifying. And incorrect. Lady Gaga Barbie would most certainly be wearing sun glasses. And you’d need to see her whole body in order to see what costume she’s wearing.

Well that’s not true at all. In 2009 about five people I know died three of which were very close to me. I promise the first thing I did was certainly not make a Facebook status. In fact when my Grandmother died I couldn’t even go on Facebook because she had one and it was the day before her birthday and she was listed in my upcoming birthdays. To this day, for some reason Facebook keeps asking me to “reconnect” with her and write on her wall. I understand why my cousins don’t want to delete it, but it really hurts to see that all the time and I can’t bear to X it out.

Sorry for the emo post guys, I just don’t really agree with this statement.

Today, my precal class was having a test on graphing functions. Thirteen minutes into the test a kid shouted out, "Holy shift! Look at the asymptote on that mother function." This earned the kid extra credit and the math department now has new t-shirts. MLIA

Well our last attempt wasn’t really an attempt. It was just us being us and then Scott Friday was nice enough to try to help us out. I’m going to feel really embarassed if I get rejected. But oh well, it happens.

that the night before a paper is due, the TA might check their email. Just maybe. Maybe people have really important questions to ask about the paper.

This is the same TA that will email me and then I will email her back within minutes of her emailing and then wont hear anything for weeks.

Evidence: I get out of the shower, ready to write my paper (finally) and promptly during the after-shower hair brush ritual I realize my industrial is halfway out. I search for the stupidly tiny silver ball on the floor, find it, drop it again, search for it again. Lauren tries, and fails, to get the ball back attached to the bar. I finally get it attached. She unscrews it while trying to tighten it. I screw it in again, she tightens it, and we call it a day.

Oh, and then I blogged about it. Still haven’t started the paper.

Proof that god doesn’t want me to write my paper either, because this happened to my roommate and I was imperative in the process.

Remember like 4 days ago when I wrote this. I was all fired up about the Onondagas. Where did that passion go?

Sonya Tayeh never ceases to amaze me. Russel and Ashleigh danced beautifully.

The paso doble was sick.sick.sick.

Dwight Rhoden and Desmond Richardson are ridiculous. I watched literally that whole performance with my jaw on the floor. Holy shit.

Watching Ashleigh and Ryan dance together, I was so genuinely happy for them. Travis Wall got that right, as usual.

Russell and Kathryn tore up that hip-hop routine.

My only complaints are 1 hour is too short and I was desperately missing Mandy Moore, Mia Michaels, and Stacey Tookey.

Can’t wait til 8pm tomorrow night!

I wasn’t really impressed by any of the dances in the first half of the show. I was really upset too because I felt like none of them were up to the level they should be to merit being in the finale. Stand outs for me were Ashleigh and Ryan for sure. The hip hop was great as was the Dwight Rhoden and Desmond Richardson. I thought that was beautiful. It really touched me, I love their choreography always. I also really liked the foxtrot, it was fun and playful and Ashleigh and Jakob have the best chemistry. They are my two favorites for sure.

I did feel as though it was way too short. It was really rushed.

Something else that really bugged me was how great the judges thought the paso doble was. I thought it was sub par and that in comparison to the paso doble that Jeanine and Brandon did last season, it was not exciting at all. Ellenore and Russel had like no chemistry. And there is nothing that is important as chemistry in a paso doble.

I’d really be happy if anyone won. As long as it’s not Ellenore. I think she’s terrible.
